I started something!

Heys, just another post to fill you in on my awesomeness recently! (No arrogance whatsoever)

Yesterday, I got to meet up with a few close friends, one who goes to the University of Newcastle, and therefore, is not in Sydney very much when university is on. So, got a chance to catch him before he moved back to Newcastle and have a little fun. Went out to Castle Hill to play a bit of basketball, a bit of 1v1 and 2v2, in which I got mostly destroyed by the others, but it was all good.

Then checked out Castle Hill Towers for a bit of Chicken Laksa which is awesome. Haven't eaten it in a while, and even though I knew it was probably using processed sauces and oils and what not, it was fricking delicious.

Yep, all you people needed to know that. Yeah, now that I think about it, it's probably not worth blogging about, but whatever, I can't be bothered deleting it now.

Today, was going to drive out a few places but when I went to start the engine, the battery was flat! Had to call roadside assistance for them to charge it up, and the wait would have to take 3 hours. Far out.

Anyway, I set off to meet up with a friend of mine, KenChen for a bit of lunch. Turns out he had an eye on one of the cashiers at the Macca's and despite it being quite busy, and with my help, in just being there to witness the event, he asked:

'Can I have...(glances up as if he's pondering what to order) your number?'

The girl's reaction was hilarious! Totally unexpected and everything. Haha. Maybe a bit slack but it worked out I guess.

KenChen put in an order for his Happy Meal and she then gave her number to him on his iPhone. Pretty random and awesome.

It's seriously that easy. If you want someone's number, just ask them for it.

Although, this story doesn't have a happy ending because she texted him later that she had a boyfriend and only gave the number because she was shocked. But still, it happened and it will be a somewhat random but awesome story that I'm glad to share.

Anyway, after those shenanigans, it was to the library!

Wait, what, the library?

Well, KenChen and I have decided to start our own YouTube channel, with the intent of making dance videos, little skits and whatever other video ideas that come out and putting it there. I don't have much foresight into what's going to happen and what it will be like, but hopefully, we can put up a few things that are decent.

So yeah, decided to go to the library, and brainstorm a few things, whilst come up with this little video. It took us a couple hours of quick filming and another couple hours of editing to put this together, so it isn't a major production or anything, just a little teaser of what to expect.

It's a bit rusty, probably because my moves are all a bit rusty and stuff. And yes, we were a bit corny with the whole books thing, but we were just messing around.

Anyway, please leave a comment on the video, link people to it on facebook and subscribe to our channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/SecondHandRozes

Thanks!
